Your mission in Thread Match is to systematically organize silk threads to finish exquisite embroidery works. Clear the board by matching three threads of the same color on their designated spools to fill in the artwork’s vibrant segments. Use your tactical storage area to prevent clogs, clear all layers of thread-boards, and reveal a breathtaking silk scarf design at the end of every level.

🧵 Core Mechanics

Click on any accessible thread on the board to unfasten it. The thread will automatically fly to the top storage area. Keep a keen eye on these two zones:

• The Spool System: There are three Active Color Spools (randomly assigned from the board’s colors) and one long White Buffer Pipe at the bottom.
  • If you pick a color that matches an active spool, it docks there.
  • If the color doesn’t match the active spools, it goes to the Buffer Pipe. Once an active spool clears and a new color appears, threads from the buffer will automatically move up.
• Match-3 Rules: Once a spool holds 3 identical threads, it is cleared and used to fill the embroidery.
• Board Physics: You can only pick threads that are not covered by other boards. When all threads are removed from a specific board, that board will drop away, revealing the layers beneath.

Stuck in a knot? Use these tools to keep the thread flowing:

• Reset Button: Located in the top-right corner. Use this if your buffer is full or the move sequence seems impossible. It reshuffles all thread colors and re-rolls the active spools for a fresh start.
• Auto-Sort Tool: Tap the icon next to the embroidery. Then, click any active spool, and the tool will automatically pluck 3 matching threads from the board to clear that spool instantly.

Why does my thread go to the bottom white pipe instead of the colored spools?

Threads only move to the colored spools if there is a matching color active at the top. If all active spools are occupied by other colors, your thread will wait in the White Buffer Pipe. Be careful—if the buffer pipe fills up completely, it’s Game Over!

Why are some threads unclickable?

The game follows a layering logic. If a thread is partially covered by another board, it is locked. You must first clear all the threads on the top board. Once that board falls off, the threads underneath become interactive.
