• Environmental Interaction: Hack terminals to disable lethal laser grids or rearrange obstacles. You must collect colored keys to open specific blast doors blocking your path to the hostages.

They are active only for the duration of the current mission and will expire once the level is cleared. You must rebuy gear for the next high-stakes assignment.

Is there any way to survive or disable the lasers?

Contact with a laser grid means instant mission failure. There is no way to survive a hit, so you must neutralize the threat. Look for control terminals or switches on the map. Some lasers are deactivated by a simple click, while others might require you to solve a pre-requisite puzzle or move an object to block the beam.
