Game Instructions

Lift Break

Lift Break Game Description

How to Play Lift Break

🎮 Basic Controls

Hold Screen = Emergency Brake: While you are holding your finger down (or holding the mouse button), the falling elevator instantly stops and hovers in mid-air.
Release Screen = Freefall: Let go, and gravity takes over immediately, hurtling the elevator downward.
One-Finger Gameplay: The entire game is played with a single button. It's incredibly easy to understand but brutal to master.

🪓 The Traps

Spinning Saws: Giant blades rotating on the walls. You must brake, wait for the gap, and drop through instantly.
Blast Doors: Horizontal gates that slam shut and open on a metronome rhythm. Only drop when they are fully open.
Pop-up Valves: Hidden spikes that suddenly thrust out of the wall as you approach, requiring inhuman reaction speeds to brake in time.

🏅 Level Mechanics

Win Condition: Reach the very bottom of the shaft without taking damage to rescue the passenger.
Game Over: If the elevator box touches literally any hazard, it instantly shatters, failing the level.
Escalating Difficulty: Higher levels mean faster gravity, tighter gaps, multiple traps stacked together, and much shorter reaction windows.

⌨️ Game Controls

Mouse click and hold to brake, release to fall.

Your main objective in “Lift Break” is to successfully guide the falling elevator all the way to the ground floor and rescue the little guy inside! As gravity pulls you down, you must judge distances instantly, braking hard to slip past spinning saws and slamming doors. A single graze means instant destruction. As you clear levels, the traps become viciously fast, demanding god-tier hand-eye coordination. Keep your cool and bring him down alive!
