How to Play House Paint

🎮 Basic Controls

Once the game begins, you control a square sponge dripping with fresh paint. Simply swipe (or click an arrow/direction) to send the sponge flying in a straight line. It will not stop until it collides with the wall's boundary, an already painted section, or an obstacle. As it slides, it automatically leaves a beautiful trail of color on any blank white space it touches.

Swipe Mechanics: You can only perform one swipe at a time. You must wait for the sponge to come to a complete stop before you can swipe again. If you plan poorly, you might trap yourself and leave unpainted squares you can no longer reach.
Clear Condition: To beat a level, you must fully paint all the blank spots on all four walls of the house.

🎨 Walls & Obstacles

The wall starts mostly bare (white or gray), with some areas possibly already colored or containing fixed fixtures.

Paintable Areas: The blank white or gray spaces on the wall. They will only get colored if the sponge glides directly over them.
Obstacles: Dark blocks, windows, or decorations cannot be painted. They act as stoppers for your sponge, requiring you to detour or approach the blank spots from a different angle.

💡 Strategy Tips

Planning your route is everything! Always prioritize painting small, isolated nooks and crannies first. If you paint the outer rings without thinking, you might create a "dead end" that prevents your sponge from stopping precisely where you need it to reach a corner.

⌨️ Game Controls

Mouse click and swipe (on PC) or touch and swipe (on mobile) to choose the sponge's direction.

In House Paint, you control a paint-filled sponge that slides across the surfaces of a house. Once it starts moving, it travels in a straight line until it hits an edge or an obstacle. Your core objective is to strategically plan your swipes to cover all the empty white spaces with paint, leaving absolutely no dead angles.

Frequently Asked Questions about House Paint games

Is there a time limit or a move limit?

Nope! You can take your time, think ahead, and try as many times as you like to find the perfect route. This game is all about relaxing, stress-free puzzle-solving.

How do I play? Can I play it on mobile?

Yes! On a PC, you use your mouse to click and swipe in the direction you want to move. On a mobile device, simply swipe the screen with your finger. The controls are universally smooth and easy.

Why can't I reach certain white spots on the wall?

If you don't plan your swipes carefully, you might accidentally wall off a tiny white spot, leaving you with no obstacles nearby to stop your sponge in the right place. Pro tip: Always aim to paint corners and tight, isolated spots first before coloring the wide-open areas!
